Katie McMurran is an award-winning sound engineer, sound designer and composer. She provides thoughtful, highly-textured sound design and scoring for podcasts, broadcasts, audiobooks and other media, often using her own field recordings and music.

She studied Music at the University of California, Berkeley and Music Technology at CalArts.
Additional experience includes field recording workshops with Martyn Stewart and Jez riley French, and music recording with Tony Visconti at the Visconti Studio (UK).
